This is a 1967 American Motors Rebel 550 2 door coupe, post with 290 V-8, automatic and power steering. It has a rust free California body but there is rust on the trunk floor with a small hole too. This car has the 290 V-8 engine that has not been touched and still has all the emission equipment attached as it left the factory. The emission pump spins and works as it should. The engine runs good but i only drove it up and down the driveway so I don't know about the transmission. The front door panels are good and the rear panels are good as well, The head liner is also good. The dash is good with no cracks and the steering wheel and center are in beautiful shape with no cracks. The glass is all good and the side glass all roll up and down as they should. The bumpers are bad but I have another set with brackets that are straight but have surface rust. I was going to build this car with all modern equipment and still retain the old look. I believe that the trunk floor is an easy fix. The floor has the original factory rubber cover instead of carpet which is torn in places but the floor is solid. I don't have the time t work on this car and don't want to start another project without finishing other projects I have going one.
