AMC Eagle project car in need of tlc.
What has been done/ on the car:new gas tank and sending unitAMC360 swapEdelbrock 670 carburetorremote oil filter (under hood, not under engine)
3 Core radiator
Torque flight 727 transmission swap (professionally rebuilt with trans go stage 2 shift kit)custom, bolt on rock rails/sub-frame connectors. (made by local 4x4 shop, 11/2in. .120 wall d o m tubing.Concord v8 front col springsshocksFord Ranger wheels (including a fifth, for full size spare)
Car comes with:new headlightsnew harmonic balancernew fuel pump
Ford 8.8 rear axle assembly from a Mercury Mountaineer with limited slip differential and disc brakes. (A popular upgrade)
This Eagle has been a work in progress for years. It is in the mock up stage, before disassembly for paint and body and interior. I have, at times, used it as a daily driver, but not in a while. It starts, runs and drives. Idles a little rough/needs some tuning. Must have new tires, these are just rollers, dry rotted.
I have too many projects to complete this one. Eagles are great cars, that were ahead of their time. I would prefer to sell at a loss than let it deteriorate in the back lot.
