This Yellow Gremlin with Green Plaid seats sure does attract a lot of looks … and smiles. Seems everyone has a great Gremlin story that they want to share. The battery is in need of charging, but the car itself runs well and I've replaced the brakes and carburetor since I acquired it about 4 years ago. I also had work done on the 4 speed stick so that it shifts reasonably smoothly for a car this old. Biggest challenge I see is with respect to the bodywork. The front grill is cracked with a couple of pieces missing and there is some rust. The car has about 82,000 miles (at least per the title). Notwithstanding my lack of repair and autobody skills, I had a whole lot of fun with this car and will miss it. Being realistic, however, this car is over 40 years old and while I am not aware of serious issues with it (other than what I've mentioned above), I see this as a great opportunity for someone with good mechanical/autobody skills but also something that a person without these skills would be best passing on.
