1974 Bricklin SV-1 - First time offered to the public! Starting at only $10,979 with no reserve. *This is not an AMC it is a Bricklin SV-1 with an AMC 360 Engine*
This Bricklin is in completely original condition, has not been restored. Does have new tires and a new battery, runs and drives.
This is the lowest mileage 1974 Bricklin in existence with only 3937 original miles on the odometer. This vehicle was in indoor storage (Away from the elements) from 1977-2018. Got it to start running again in 2017. Everything is original on the vehicle other than the brand new tires that were put on last year. This is a true collectors vehicle, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to own the lowest mileage 1974 Bricklin in existence as well as it being 1 of 121 built in this color and transmission.
The 1974 Bricklin SV-1 features its famous gullwing doors, safety orange acrylic body, and it's powerful AMC 360 V8 engine as well as a stainless steel frame. It does run and drive however you must have the money present in order to test drive.
This vehicle is 1 of 121 1974 Bricklin SV-1's in the color safety orange. Extremely rare collectors vehicle.
We have not cleaned the vehicles interior or exterior, the 40 years of accumulated dust still covers the exterior as some collectors value this. Still has original 1974 inspection sticker on windshield as well as two 1974 SUNY faculty permits on the rear window.
This vehicle is exactly how it was found after sitting in a garage for 40 years, it is a true rare barn find. The gullwing doors were hydraulic powered from the factory but many Bricklin owners converted this to air powered to lift the doors as the hydraulic power tended to fail with age. Due to this Bricklin sitting for 40+ years, it still has the original hydraulic power which is too weak to hold the doors open on its own. The doors can be manually lifted to access vehicle. There are air lift conversion kits on ebay for around $320. There is no rust on the body and virtually no rust underneath. This Bricklin is unrestored so the winning bidder can restore it themselves with their own taste or leave it in its original condition as it is a beautiful piece of automotivehistory.
Please message me with questions or concerns if interested before placing a bid or purchasing, Thank You
Payment Policy: The winning bidder must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end date via Paypal. The remaining amount will be accepted by certified money order or cash in person.
