1974 AMC Javelin AMX

You are bidding on a 1974 AMC Javelin Amx. This is a an example of a very original car. We are the second owners. We bought the car in 2014 from the original owner. The car came from north carolina and had been parked since around 2000 according to what we were told. ( it still has the 1999 North Carolina inspection tag on the windshield) The odometer shows just over 60,000. We have put abut 3,000 miles on it since purchasing it. We have driven the car to numerous car shows with no problems. and even drove it to the woodward dream cruise. Since being brought to Michigan the car has spent it's time in covered storage. We have spent at least $4,000 in upkeep and upgrades since purchasing the vehicle. The car was originally Blue as decoded from the door tag. but according to the original owner was repainted in the early 80's in the existing gloss black. The interior is original from what we were told when we purchased it. Feel free to contact us with any questions.

I have had some people asking what things we had done to the car since we purchased it. Here are pretty much most of the things, at least as much as I can remember off the top of my head. Carpet, tires, shocks, steering pump, steering box, pitman arm idler arm, radiator, alignment, timing chain and gear, oil pump, camshaft ( comp cams 270 ) lifters, pushrods, intake manifold from 1970 AMC 390 part number 3195532c, carburetor edelbrock 600 cfm, new dual exhaus, flo pro mufflers. I had some requests for some underbody pictures so I will be posting them in just a little while.Thanks for looking!
