Car description |
---|
1970 AMX four speed 360 body, (shell). One of AMERICAS best musclecars. This is just a shell with it's title. Extremely rough condition.
The story from the last three owners, about twenty years. This car was given from two owners back to one of the D's in the partnership of D & D AMC. It was going to be a roundy round enduro car. It never happened, but it did set outside in his back yard for years. Well D & D split up and he just sold it to me, Down and dirty Dan's AMC not more than a year ago. I pulled the 401 and 727 that was in it to sell on my Web/Sit for parts. I just power washed all the mossoff and out of it to see what condition it was in.
CONDITION: Dents all over, includingtop. Core support is wiped out. Right side rear rocker is heavilybent in. Right and left quarters have rust behind rear tires. Right and left floor pans behind the seat area are rusted through. The left quarter behind door jam has body filler in it, you can see the bondo buggers, (worms) sticking out from the back side. Where it had been drilled and pulled, rather then hammeredout. Probablya commission paid body man. The air in takegrill, some one bent that. See pic's. That's the worst of it. THERE MAY BE SOME THING ELSE, SOLD AS IS.
This car would be good for some one that has a 304 Javelin that wants to up grade, or a beginningof a race car.
If it doesn't sell on E/Bay it will go to the new .com Web/Sit amc-performance at a higher price. Or I may finish parting it out. It still has the four speed peddles, tork links, I was told it was a posy rear end, trunk floor is good, tail light panel, and the quarters are not junk.
Shipping, or transport is buyers responsibility. I will only sit on it after it's sold for two weeks. if not picked up by then, you lose your money and it's still my car.
