Description
I have owned this Eagle for approximately 7 years. It is driven several times a week. It is hard to believe this car is 33 years old. The interior is almost mint condition. It needs a driver's side sun visor. Everything works like new. AC blows cold. All gauges and lights work. Exterior is also in very good condition. No rust anywhere. When I purchased the car it was a darker brown. I wanted a brighter color, so it was repainted in this lighter color which was also an option for Eagles that year. There are a few small areas where the newer paint is peeling. Also, there were some scratches on the doors that I repaired. Unfortunately, the paint didn't match as well as I hoped. You may not notice if you didn't know. The 4x4 works fine. It has the 258 6 cylinder engine which is plenty. It leaks a little oil around the valve cover. I had a new gasket put on it, but it still leaks some. It must burn a little too, but it doesn't smoke or anything. I just keep an eye on the oil. Seems to use about a quart between changes.
I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It gets around great in the winter. Always a conversation piece wherever you go.
