You are bidding on a 1965 Rambler American 220. This is a true barn find. I bought these car from the original buyer of this car. It has 39,000 original miles. It came with a straight 6 and three speed. This car has a very rust free body. The floor pan drivers side had a hole the size of a quarter and was cut out and a patch panel welded in. The floor pan rear passenger seat had pitting only so i had the body shop cut it out and put a patch panel in there. The car underneath was under coated and the floor pan and trunk had bed liner sprayed in. Then i put two layers of foil insulation in the floor and roof. I sent the bumpers to Texas to be show chromed when they got back they are very nice but not national show chrome. The windshield is new with new rubber and the rear has new rubber. All glass was removed from the vehicle prior to body being prepped for paint. the door rubbers and trunk rubbers have been replaced. The paint on this car is much nicer then the pictures show. The paint is three stage pearl both colors. Come from house of colors. If you know anything about paint you know how much just the paint cost and clear not counting the prep primer and blocking primer. It has a camaro 8.5 10 bolt rear end and was narrowed to the width of the original Rambler rear end. It has a 4.3 Vortec that has been completely rebuilt. It has bored .030 over new cam new lifters, rods have been checked for size and rotating assy was balanced. The bearings and rings were sized to factory specs. The valve springs were replaced and set to factory height. The motor has a new holley intake and new holley 390 CFM carb with electric choke. I was unable to find a headliner for the car so i put two layers of foil insulation glued in and painted black. if you have any questions ask and i will get back to you. This will be a no reserve auction. This vehicle is for sale locally and i may end this auction early.
