1968 AMC AMX, 390 CI, 4 Barrel, Engine with Factory Air Conditioning. I have a clear title in my name. This AMX is a number matching, dry western, car. It has a solid body with only minor surface rust. I've taken photos of the floors, front and rear - as well as photos from underneath the car. I purchased the AMX as a restoration project and have collected an extra fender, door, passenger's side rearquarter panel, and several small parts in preparation for the restoration. The engine has not been started for several years, but turns freely and appears to have good compression. I don't want to oversell the AMX and the reserve on the car is well under its value. It needs to be restored, but it has the correct engine, a corrosion free body, and is highly optioned with air conditioning. Please look closely at all of the photos. The passenger's side rear quarter panel has a dent. I think it can be corrected with body work, but a complete passenger's side rear quarter comes with the car. All of theglass is good, but the windshield has a crack. There is a smaller dent on the driver's side rear which will need to be corrected before re-installing the taillight. The front bumper is not dented, but the chrome is shot. Again, please look closely at the photos. The history of AMC's AMX is interesting. AMC wanted to compete against GMC's Corvette. This small, two bucket seat, coupe was their answer. The 1968 AMX, 390 CI, 4 Barrel Carbureted car was there entry vehicle into themuscle car arena. This highly optioned AMX is a worthwhile restoration project. I will gladly assist the shipper you select in shipping the AMX anywhere in the world. I'm not a car dealer. I just have too many projects and I can't afford to restore the AMX. If you have fewer than 5 positive feedback on Ebay, please message me or give me a call before bidding. My name is Bob and my phone number is (801) 745-5835. Good luck bidding, and hope the AMX finds a good home.
