Car description |

Please excuse the pollen...it's impossible to take a good picture right now. Note: if the car does not reach $2,200, it will come on original wheels/wire hubcaps with Michelins (good tread depth but weather-checked).
Incredibly original and solid car with ice cold AC and brand new whitewalls on 60's Crestline Mark II's. It's triple burgundy on burgundy on burgundy with only 89,000 miles. There are also a bunch of vintage candy wrappers and state fair tickets from 1986 included at no charge.
The body is straight with no rust but with a couple dings here and there. The vinyl top is perfect. The biggest areas of concern are a few spots where the paint has peeled off, exposing the galvanized metal in three places. It looks like it had a parking lot shunt repaired at one point on the left rear but it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it.
The undercarriage is completely rust free. The floors, inner and outer rockers, and wheel arches are 100% solid. The exhaust pipe at the rear exit is a crusty and the rear valance has some scale near the bumper shocks, which can be seen in the photos.
The interior is in great shape except for one 4" stitch in the drivers seat and faded carpet on the tunnel. Brand new headliner in the most burgundy shade of burgundy. The eight track player still blares Boston or any of the 16 cassettes that come with it. All windows and handles work as expected and the condition of the door panels is excellent.
No dramas mechanically. Smooth 258 and 3-speed auto with a highway final drive. If anything, it could use one of the rear wheels balanced as I think it flung a weight. The motor runs great and has just had a coolant flush, oil change, and a new serpentine belt. This still retains all stock smog equipment which seems to be in working order.
The exhaust pipe at the rear needs to be replaced, however, the only side effect is an occasional knock of the exhaust against the body. No fumes or extra noise.
