Car description |

OK, now here we go!! My wife is tired of looking at this in the driveway, so my loss is your gain!
I have a 1974 AMC Gremlin with a 232 inline 6 engine. This car will run and drive!! I bought this some time ago and it did not run, or even look like it wanted to run ever again. It was in rough condition (even more so then it looks now)! It does need a lot of work and I believe I have done enough to bring it back to life and now onto the next person. I do not really care about making a profit on this as I will definitely not once you see how much I have replaced on it just to get it going.
The good, bad, and ugly.
New tires
New brakes
New (reman) 2 barrel carburetor
New battery
plugs, wires, distributor, cap, rotor
New EGR valve
New Brake Master Cylinder
New Starter
New oil pump
New Fuel Sending unit (hard as hell to find as they did not remanufactor)
Gas tank has been professionally lined and cleaned out.
I have 2 new exterior door handles to put on (old ones are broke)
I have 2 replacement sun visors (from another 74' Gremlin)
New Voltage Regulator
New Fuel Filter
I had a couple of leaks fixed in the transmission (there is another that has to have the transmission removed to fix)
I am fairly confident that I am forgetting something.
The car will need a bunch of things, before I bought it, it sat for around 8 years before moved. This caused the a lot of sitting rot.
It has a cracked windshield.
Drivers side floor is rusted out pretty good and will need to be replaced.
There are a few dents around the car (see pics)
You have to prime it well or pour some gas down the carb to get it going (never had that looked at after I got it running)
Does have an exhaust leak.
All the Weather stripping is in need of replacement.
There is some rust in some spots.
Please read everything as this is not a perfect car, by any means. Buying it means that you understand that. I will post some pictures and if you would like to have some additional pictures please let me know, I dont mind sending any at all. I will also answer any questions I can about it. I am not a professional, at all. I paid to have this work done. The Gremlin was my first vehicle so I found one and jumped on it.
Buyer will be responsible for shipping or pick up. I can assist in any of those options the best I can. Thank you for looking and good luck!

On Feb-13-17 at 12:58:37 PST, seller added the following information:
I also replaced the shocks all the way around and some of the front end parts. I took a few more pictures to show some of those. I have not done any body work to this vehicle, although I took two pictures that looks like someone has previously.
The windshield also has a crack in it, so that will need replacing as well.
I also took a picture of where I think the exhaust leak is coming from. It looks like when I had a bit of it replaced, they just didnt weld it correctly.
