This 1967 (Serial number suggest it's a 66') Alfa Duetto was bought by me in 1986 in running condition. I was told the originalownerpurchased it in LA and I am the 3rd owner. In 1993I rolled the car into my shop and stripped it to a barechassis/ body shell (Rust free) and did a complete ground up restoration. I have only put on about 2500 miles on it since the complete overhaul. Currentmileageshows, assume rolled over (1)26,295miles. Since cosmetically it was a little "tired looking" I just completed a cosmetic refresh June 2015. inpreparationfor sale.I really love the car, ut I'm not driving it and I need to make room in the garage for another project. (The restoration of myfathersC sedan race car.)I grew up around sports car racing in New England so this car was built as an "enthusiast" car, f the late 60's early 70's, sing parts that would have beenavailableat that time. When the engine was rebuilt it was bored out to 1750 and bearings, eals, istons and cams were replaced or upgraded and free flow exhaustsystem was added. The car also has an upgraded 1972 rear end with limited slip differential & better brakes which were much better than the original 67' rear end (Originaldifferentialis included with the car). The suspension upgrades include; rally springs, tiffer sway bars and Koni shocks, inilite (Panasport) wheels andYokohama195/45ZR15 tires. Also a smallerbeefysteeringwheel and sport mirrors. The starter switch had a key jammed in it, o this was bypassed and a main on-off switch and starter switch was installed in the ash tray with an additional hidden security switch. (when you buy the car, 'll show you were it is;)) Also, he original ashtray plastic piece was damaged, o while making a new one, added a cup holder to match thestyleof the original plastic. The interior and paint were just redone and the wheels have been powder coated. The colors of red with yellow wheels are like theFerrariand Alfa teams raced in the 60's and 70's.The car can be put back to original 1967appearancewith original parts, any of which are included with the car. These Include; original 67differential, wing arms, hocks and sway bars and steering wheel. I will also include many spare parts; a set of original OEM rubber trim for convertible top, new convertible top replacement (fabric) (Missing frame), ard top (Needs refinishing), rive shaft donut & support bushing, riginal taillight assemblies, riginal headlamp covers (fogged, ut can be polished) original and copies of factory service manuals along with an Alfa Ricambi partsmanualandcatalog. I have been making things for film, musement parks and the aerospacebusinessfor 35 years, o when I rebuilt the car, ny part I could not rebuild or replace, made. So included with the car are the tooling and silicone molds used to make these replacement parts. These are mostly cosmetic parts and they were madeusingmaterialsequivalentto the original parts and whenever possible, n original part was used for the mold.
