Car description

1984 ALFA ROMEO GTV6. OWNER. 2k ORIGINAL MILES. 00% STOCK & ORIGINAL. ERY NICE Up for sale is a 1984 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 coupe. This is a true 1 owner car and has 32. 00 actual miles and have the documentation to prove it. I recently back to my hometown in Great Neck. New York and purchased the entire private car collection from a retired car dealer that had the franchise Ferrari. Alfa Romeo and Mazda dealership in my hometown. This GTV6 was purchased new by a Doctor in 1986 from F & S motors in the Bronx. NY. I have some of the service records up until 1989 and just over 30. 00 miles on it from the Doctor who coincidentally also lived in my hometown. Sometime in either 1989 or 1990 this GTV6 was traded into the local Alfa Romeo dealership in Great Neck and the dealership owner decided to add this to his private car collection at his mansion out on Long Island. The car barely saw the light of day over the next 25 years and had only been driven 1. 00 miles the whole time. Fast forward to February 2015. I flew from Sunny Scottsdale. AZ to Long Island. New York to buy 2 Ferrari's from the car collection that was going to be sold off as the car dealer had long retired and spent all his time in Florida now. When I walked into the garage it was like a time capsule. There were 12 low mileage cars from the 1980's that had come in on trade from the original owners or cars that he bought new. I immediately purchased the whole collection and shipped the cars back to Arizona. This Alfa Romeo had not been started in over 7 years so I did not attempt to even start it without fresh gas or a battery. It also still had it's original Pirelli P6 tires on all 4 corners which I replaced for safety reasons. Literally all it took was fresh gas and a battery and it fired right up. I took it for a drive and was very impressed. Everything on the car worked and it drove great. Even the built in radar detector powered right up. The motor is smooth as silk and the transmission shifts smoothly into every gear. All the electrical and gauges work as well including the clock. The car appears to be mostly original paint and it shined up to a near perfect mirror finish. In the pictures of the car it appears to be streaks in the paint. it is actually the reflection of clouds in the sky and you can see how mirror like the paint is and how straight the body is. There is no rust spots anywhere on the exterior and looks outstanding from every angle. Interior is in equally as nice shape and really is a time capsule down to the Clarion dial radio. Mechanically it is also impressive and is a blast to drive. I have never driven a GTV6 before and was very impressed on how well balanced and smooth the car is. I drove it down the highway and it did everything I asked it to do and was happy to do it. This low mileage. one owner doctor's car is as unmolested and original as you will find out there for sale. These cars are well known for rusting in many different locations and usually is the death of them. We inspected this car from top to bottom and only found 3 small spots which are all easily repairable and took pictures of the the 3 spots and the entire undercarriage and trunk floor as well. There is one small spot on the driver side shock tower under the hood and a 3-4 inch spot on both lower inner front fenders underneath the car. If you are looking for fantastic low mileage GTV6 then look no further. They don't pop up in this shape very often. If you have any questions. please call Randy at 480-206-1701
