Now up for auction is this 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Graduate.Referencing the model’s early appearance in the 1967 film starring Dustin Hoffman, this “Graduate” edition Spider was offered with the same twin-cam 2.0 L engine and drivetrain from theQuadrifoglio and Veloce models.This 1988 example is has always been garage-kept and carefully maintained, Note that it comes with a brand-new convertible top recently installed.Now showing just over 73k miles on the odometer (that is less than 2300 miles per year average), This Spider is being offered by its seller in Georgia accompanied by a color-matched removable hardtop, a collection of documentation, and a clean title. This Spider has undergone a relatively recent respray in its original Alfa Red color and remains in very good conditionwith only very minor cosmetic imperfections (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery).Exterior features include a rear decklid spoiler and a brand-new vinyl convertible top.Pininfarina badges are also affixed onthesides laying claim tothe Italian firm’s design work.This example rides on 15” Alfa Romeo wheels with new “Phone Dial” wheel covers, which are currently dressed in newer Michelin tires.A color-matched removable hardtop will also be included in the sale.
