Alfa Romeo Spider S4 1992

This must be one of the nicest Spider S4s available anywhere it is unique! It is a 1992 registered car but for some reason eBay will not let me put my VIN in the advert as it does not recognise it so I have had to put the car as a 1980 as the advert does not need a VIN if the car is a 1980 car! The VIN is correct as the car has only just been given a Florida tag all is in order. I live in the UK but spend half my time in Orlando where my daughter lives. I imported the car in March and have only just got it registered in the US because of Covid. All taxes are paid and there is a large history file with the car. It is right hand drive but that adds to the uniqueness and being so small it really is not a problem. After I had the car a few years I decided the full black interior which is one of the pics above was just too drab so I had the whole interior refurbished in tan/red leather, new red carpets and a new expensive mohair hood and new tonneau cover. As you can see from the pictures it has transformed the car the dash in particular looks fantastic.
Extras I have added to the car are a drivers heated seat, double din bluetooth latest Alpine head unit with 2 amps in the rear bulkhead in the trunk, new uprated front speakers and a fantastic sounding rear parcel box speaker that fits perfectly and can be removed. It has a reverse camera fitted in the tag surround that comes on the screen automatically when the car is shifted into reverse. The double USB socket for the stereo is nicely fitted below the heater controls. I have just bought an expensive 2nd hand Nardi steering wheel with new horn centre, I have put lights in the footwells in the door pockets, the glove box and the trunk, I have even has a leather shift knob made that illuminates the same colour as the lights with the Alfa logo. There is also a double USB holder for charging phones etc with an Alfa cover and a wind deflector behind the seats that makes top down motoring so much better at speed. All 4 tyres are like new it has a new sports exhaust and it's just had a full service including engine, gearbox and trans oil plus 2 new front wheel bearings.
The car has electric windows (the driver's has just had a new mechanism fitted) and door mirrors and a battery cut off switch in the trunk. It does not have AC but that only saps power plus it's a roof down type of car most of the time anyway. The engine is the legendary Alfa 2 litre twin cam which is torquey and nippy. The gear change on the 5 speed box from 2nd to 3rd and back down cannot be rushed but that is genuinely a trait on all the Spider S4s as the saying goes "they all do that"! The hood is lined with an Alfa logo and again lights fitted that come on automatically.
This is a genuine very very low mileage car with the best interior of any Spider and was very expensive but as I say it makes the car unique and far more desirable than the original black. The car has no rust it has been well looked after, that is obvious and they are such rare cars it is not very often you will see another. I have looked on all the car sites and very low mileage cars like mine with standard interiors are around 25k so this will be a genuine bargain especially if you considered the costs involved getting mine to this specification. Pleasenote the speedometer is in miles per hour but the odometer is inkilometresthis idiosyncrasyis due to Alfa never making thecar in right hand drive the few that are were converted by the UK official Alfa importer of the time.
The car is a fantastic investment in this condition with such low miles, looked after this car can only appreciate, it will be free motoring with a nice profit in a couple of years! You will not find a better car sporting a full leather interior with all the extras and low mileage anywhere. This really is a totally unique Spider that draws attention everywhere it goes, people just seem to love this rare Italian beauty, so be prepared to answer questions or have pictures taken when parked up!
