1970 ALFA ROMEO MONTREAL VERY RARE

1970 Alfa Romeo Montreals are special as is. with its 4 cam dry sump 230HP engine. ZF transmission. and arguably the most exotic lines Alfa introduced for production. This Montreal. serial # 1425102 is the second car built. the earliest car in private hands. (its sister car. #5101 is in the Alfa museum) known as a pre-production prototype. with many features unique only to #5101 and #5102. The rear differential with its finned magnesium sump cooler works properly. The interior is in nice shape with a beautiful new set of wool carpets. The suspension has lower and slightly stiffer springs with bilstein gas shocks to improve its handling. The original front brake calipers were replaced with ones originally designed etc.
