SHE IS A WHITE 1ST SERIES WITH CROSS OVER AIR FILTER SYSTEM TWIN SIDE DRAUGHT 5 SPEED GEARBOX WITH FLOOR SHIFT AND DUNLOP BRAKES FRONT AND REAR - UMBRELLA STYLE HANDBRAKE PULL.
THIS IS THE 1ST SERIES VERSION.
I HAVE GOT HER OUT OF THE SHED WHERE SHE SAT SINCE THE 1990'S.
WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR IT HAD IN THE BOOT A SET OF ORIGINAL BORGO (IN BIG RED BOX) PISTONS AND LINER SET AN ORIGINAL RH TOP CONTROL ARM AND A GENUINE GASKET SET WHICH I THEN USED IN THE ENGINE REBUILD.
THE ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT IN 1986 BY STEVE DOWNIE IN BROOKVALE, WITH ALL ORIGINAL PARTS AND ALSO PORT AND POLISHED AND SHOT PEINED CYLINDER HEAD.THE GEARBOX WAS OVERHAULED WITH NEW SYNCRO'S AND HUBS.
NEW CLUTCH FITTED.
BILSTEIN FRONT SHOCKS ( NOTE MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY ON SHOCKS PRE 1989).
ORIGINAL SPICA ALIQUANT FRONT SHOCKS INCLUDED IN THE SPARES
FRONT COUPLING CHANGED BUT FROM THERE BACK NOTHING IN THE DRIVE TRAIN WAS CHANGED(OTHER THAN A PAIR OF REAR RED KONI'S).
ALL STEERING TIE ROD ENDS AND AN ORIGINAL RH TOP CONTROL ARM AND LOWER LEMFORDER BUSHES REPLACED.
NEW FRONT DISCS & BRAKE PADS WERE REPLACED.
STILL HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL LOCKTABS ON REAR SUSPENSION & DIFFERENTAIL NUTS.NEW ORIGINAL REAR DISCS AND MOST DUNLOP PARTS INCLUDED WITH THE PARTS.
I LEFT THE OLD ANSA REAR MUFFLER ON HER ALTHOUGH SHE'S MORE HOLY THAN THE POPE BUT IT USED TO LOOK COOL.
NEW FRONT ORIGINAL DESCAM EXHAUST ASSEMBLY INCLUDED IN PARTS.
IT CAME WITH SOLEX 40 DDH'S AND AT THE TIME OF REBUILD WE PUT ON THE DELLORTO'S AS IT WAS EASIER TO GET THE SERVICE KITS FOR THEM.
I REPLACED THE DISTRIBUTOR WITH A 2000 105 BOSCH ALLOY VERSION AS ONCE AGAIN EASIER FOR THE ADJUSTMENT AND SPARES.
THE ORIGINAL SOLEX'S ARE INCLUDED IN THE SPARES COMPLETE WITH GENUINE SERVICE KITS FOR THE FUTURE.
MECHANICALLY IT IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION AND REALLY LITTLE TO NOTHING TO SPEND.
SHE DID 2000 MILES BEFORE A LITTLE ACCIDENT ON THE LEFT FRONT TOOK HER OFF THE ROAD.
IT WAS THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD AND A REAL EXPERIENCE TO DRIVE. HAD MANY A FUN TIME AGAINST MUCH BIGGER ENGINED CARS INC V8'S AND IT EM BARR ASS ED THEM THIS LITTLE UGLY DUCKLING THAT FLY'S.
PUSHED IN THE FRONT OF THE LH GUARD AND SMASHED A HEADLIGHT WITH DAMAGE TO THE GRILLE AND BUMPER. IT ALSO DAMAGED THE RADIATOR MOUNTING BRACKETS SO I HAD TO SWAP IT WITH A 1970 GIULIA.
THE TYRES ARE ORIGINAL YOKOHAMA I PUT ON IN 1986 WHICH STILL LOOK VERY GOOD AND FULL TREAD. DEPTH HOLD PRESSURE AND HAVE NO CRACKS AT ALL.

ORIGINAL OWNER WAS A MEMBER OF PHYC SYDNEY FROM 1967 -1984 SO ONLY THE 2 OWNERS.
HAD SOME RUST / BOG REPAIRS ON REAR LOWER QUARTER PANELS AND LEFT FRONT DOOR WHICH HAS NOW RUSTED THRU SO IT PROBABLY WOULD NEED REPLACING AND RIGHT REAR DOOR HAS SOME BOG AND FRONT LOWER APRON WAS BOGGED AND IS RUSTED THRU ALTHOUGH I DO HAVE A NOS PANEL FOR THE RADIATOR BOX SUPPORT AND THERE IS A RUST HOLE IN THE RH SILL AND AROUND BOOT FLOOR.OTHERWISE JUST SURFACE RUST SPOTS WEREAS UNDERNEATH AND THE FLOORS AND CHASSIS THERE IS NO RUST MARKS AT ALL AND IS STILL WITH ORIGINAL TAR SPRAY AND ALL CLEAR.
THE INTERIOR HAD THE RADIO STOLEN [RIPPED OUT] WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE, ALTHOUGH THERE IS A COMPLETE DASHBOARD WITH GLOVEBOX. ALL THE MOULDINGS AND BADGES RADIO COVER PLATE INCLUDED WITH THE SPARES. THE SEATS ARE COMPLETELY ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE TEARS IN THE SEATS AND SUN DAMGE TO THE TOP SECTION OF THE REAR SEAT ALTHOUGH THE REAR BASE ONE HAS HAD A COVER FROM ORIGINAL OWNER IN THE VERY EARLY DAYS AND IS LIKE UNMARKED UNDERNEATH.
I HAVE TAKEN THE FRONT BAR AND HEADLIGHTS OUT SO I CAN SHOW A BETTER PHOTOGRAPH WITH THE DAMAGE TO THE LEFT GUARD
THE FLOOR CARPETS ARE WORN ALTHOUGH ORIGINAL AND THE BOOT RUBBER MATS ARE ALL THERE BUT CRACKED / TORN AND TAPED TOGETHER ALTHOUGH THE NAME EVEREST AND ORIGINAL PART NUMBERS AND DATE 66 3 OR 66 5 MOULDED INTO EACH ONE OF THEM FOR IDENTIFICATION.THE CAR HAS BEEN IN THE COUNTRY SINCE THE 1990'S AND THE CHASSIS IS ABSOLUTELY BONE DRY AND NO RUST AND ALL COMPLETELY ORIGINAL UNMOLESTED.
IT HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL GLASS
THE CAR STARTED WITH ONLY A TANK CLEAN AND FRESH FUEL, NEW FUEL FILTER AND CLEANED CARBURETTORS. SHE SOUNDS AMAZING AND REVS BEAUTIFULLY.
THE FRONT BRAKES WERE STUCK SO I AM STRIPPING THEM DOWN AND CLEANING THEM UP AND BM CYL IS CLEAN AND FREE AND REAR BRAKES WORK OK.
I HAVE GIVEN A LIGHT PAINT TO THE TOP OF THE GUARDS AND 1/4 PANELS JUST TO SEE HOW SHE WOULD LOOK AND IT IS A EXCELLENT EXAMPLE TO RESTORE AS IT HASN'T BEEN PLAYED WITH JUST GREW OLD AND NEEDS THE EXPERIENCE OF A PROFESSIONAL TO RESTORE.
HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO RESTORE A CLASSIC ITALIAN PIECE OF ART THAT HAS NOT BEENPULLED ALL APART PREVIOUSLY AND YOU CAN RESTORE HER WITHOUT HAVING TO CHANGE MUCH AT ALL FOR IT TO STAY TRUELY ORIGINAL
