I'm not an Alfa Romeo expert at all and I will never claim to be. This 1975 Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider was part of an estate sale and was a barn find. The Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider is white over the coolest burgundyinterior with a black roof. I think this color combination is the best looking out there for a vintage Alfa. This Alfa Romeo has 38,728 on the speedo and the family told me that was the original miles. I have no way to confirm this other than their word.It was literally parked in a barn for many years under a sheet. I know it starts and runs. The clutch feels great and it shifts well. Second gear has the mesh grind, pretty much like all I have read about! I would definitely go through the engine if you purchase this car just to make sure everything is up to snuff. It has an exhaust leak, not horrible but makes the 4 cylinder louder then it should be.The brake light is on, however it stops well with no issues. I'd say the two front tires are newer thanthe rear tires. The wheels are in decent shape with no wheel rash or bends. The body on the car has had previous bodywork sometime ago and I would say it was amatur done . It really has very little rust on the body that I can see. Just a slight few spots here and there but for the most part is pretty solid. The paint looks better in the pictures then in person. The Alfa Romeo is still presentable but would need some clean-up and wet sanding to look better. The exterior of the trunk lid has the most orange peel and roughness! There is a small dent in the passenger side door. I just like to describe things honestly. The rubber bumpers are in ok condition, the front one has a few cracks but not horrible. The rear one is missing the metal insert in the center. Someone has put black foam in the center to make it look complete. In the truck you have your spare tire and jack, along with a small tool kit. The battery was recently changed so it starts right up. There are some spare parts in the trunk along with some Alfa Romeo books and receipts of things bought for car and service. The interior of the car is pretty nice, there is a small split in the driver'sseat and a small hole in the passenger seat. Both seem that they could be repaired to look better. The rubber floor covers are original and in decent shape, they were cleaned and look pretty good. The drivers side one has some tape on the bottom of it. Most of the gauges seem to work. The turn signals don't seem to work and one headlight does not illuminate. I think all the lights need to be gone through, parking lights and brake lights etc. The Alfa comes with the original boot, one of the clips is broke on the boot. The convertible top was replaced about 10 years ago the family told me. It's in good condition with no holes and the rear window is clear. The dashboard is nice with no cracks or fading. The wood Alfa steering wheels is in excellent shape. All the glass in original and in good condition with zero chips or cracks. The side view mirror looks to be glued in the metal housing. It could be cleaned up and re-attached. The handles are all complete and the manual windows roll up and down great. The radio does not work, along with the power antenna. Please check values on vintage Alfa's, they are really coming up and becoming super collectible, I think this car will be a super collectible car one day. Especially if you make it perfect.I believe I have represented this Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider very well and I think with a little work it could be a very cool car!
