1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrofoglio

This 87 Spider Quad was the ultimate top of the line Spider. They were produced for only 5 years from 1985 to 1990. Alfa applied all the styling tricks and luxury options they could when they sold this car. It has the unique 15 inch wheels, special high grade leather seats, special wool carpeting, cloth convertible top and much more.

We come across quite a few Alfa Spiders - but this car caught our eye because the interior is near perfect. Since acquiring this car we have rebuilt the front end, replaced the entire braking system - including new hoses, new master cylinder, new calipers and fresh fluid. Also we have put on 4 brand new tires.

The engine fires right up, purrs very nicely, and pulls strong. The gearbox shifts smoothly, even the notorious 2nd gear syncro is working fine. Brakes are perfect. Interior is in excellent shape. Equipped with sweet sounding Ansa exhaust.

Car was Ziebarted by previous owner so undercarriage is covered with black rustproofing material. Paint is in good shape for a 30 year old car with some small nicks and chips as well as what looks like slight hail damage which is not visible in photos.

Air conditioning system is intact but does not produce cold air.

Original cloth convertible top is intact but worn. It does not have and holes and seems to be water tight. Rear window is still clear.

This is a great little cars and tons of fun to drive.
