I am reluctantly selling my 1971 GT Junior 1300. which I recently purchased early this fall. I intended to keep this car for a very long time. but with a baby on the way. some priorities have changed. This car drives beautifully. All gauges. lights. are all in perfect working order. The car has received $3. 00 worth of work in the past couple of years. It is currently registered and road worthy. This car is in remarkably good condition. as it is original. even with its period “ROMA” license plates. The car was imported from Rome in the late 1980s. with very few owners. I believe I am the third owner of this car. It looks to be its original engine and transmission. It still has all its original features. from vinyl mats right down to the sound deadening material underneath. The car was appraised back in 2006 for $15. 00. 00. Body:-It doesn’t appear to have been in any accidents-The paint job is in very good condition. with the exception of the rear trunk lid (paint there has appeared to have turned more to a matte finish). which has likely been repainted at some point with poor paint prep. The car appears to have been repainted once. There are a few minor dings (ie. Quarter size or smaller) and a few paint chips (see photos). Excellent considering it is completely original. Two small rust bubbles (see photos). -It does have a few rust holes where the seat mounting bracket has broken through. -Other than the small rust bubble and a dime size hole on one of the rockers. the original outer and inner rockers are in exceptional shape for an Alfa. -All of the chrome is in excellent shape with the exception of the rear bumper. which does have a few dings and is bent in on the side section of the bumper-Lights are in excellent shape and in working order-All mechanical parts are in good working order-Glass is in excellent condition-New tires and brakes -Tires: Cooper CS4 Tourings 185/70/14-Not winter drivenEngine:-Original 1300 (1. 3L) engine-Twin dellorto carburetors (could use some fine tuning)-Excellent oil pressure-Had a recent oil/filter change in the fall. prior to winter storage. with new fuel filter-Brand new fuel tank sender unit install (from Classic Alfa)Transmission:-Original 5-speed transmission-No crunch in any of the gears. shift very smoothly with no issuesInterior:-All gauges are in working order and in good condition -Seats are in great condition no rips. or tears-Overall the interior is in excellent condition -All vinyl mats are original in excellent condition-Head liner is in good condition with the exception of a small tear near the passenger rear window-New chrome heater fascia panel (from Classic Alfa)-The dash does have a dash cap. but unsure of the condition of the original one underneathShipping:-Buyer is responsible for shipping-For American buyers. I highly recommend using a shipper/broker to make the import/export process pain-free. I have sold a car to the US before. and it's just a bit more paperwork than the normal buying process. Other:-Personalized Ontario plates not included-Original"ROMA" plates are included
