Car description |
---|
Well kept Berlina, original SoCal car, with 58k plus original miles, per title and receipts. New exhaust, new spica fuel injection, Koni coils, lowered to European specs. Paint fully stripped, only minor surface rust found, 3 coats of rust preventative, Alfa faggio maroon paint. Mechanically in excellent condition - needs nothing. Exterior, a "9", no rust anywhere. All glass, weather stripping in good shape.
Interior a "6-7", due to sun damage to rear seat deck and upholstery, need for new carpet, wood trim needs resto, cracked dash w/ dash cover, has new headliner. New temp and fuel gauges, original clock still works. Door cards are in excellent shape, aside from speakers installed in front cards. Yokahama Avid H4 tires with >50% tread.
The good: Strong engine, tuned for local altitude, tranny shifts excellent. Exceptionally fun car to drive - the thrill of an Alfa without the cost of a GTV. The Berlina actually was found to handle better than the GTV in the Road & Track 1972 test (original R&T August '72 issue included), and you can comfortably seat 4! New blank set of keys, washer bag, pump and lines, cloth car cover included.
The not so bad: Pyle stereo/mp3 player and (new) power antenna not hooked up, windshield washer not installed, missing truck lock, needs turn signal return spring, rear window defrost not working. That's about it!
More photos of stripped car, etc. upon request. Please - serious inquiries only!
Will assist with shipping if needed.
