Car description |

I'm selling my beloved 1977 Alfa Spider which has been a 100% reliable and reliably fun occasional weekend driver for the 10 years I've owned her. The car has very low original miles and was well taken are of by its previous owner in California. It has a sticker from the Golden Gate chapter of the Alfa Club.
This is a really fine example of a mid-70's Spider and was completely restored top to bottom by Santo Spadaro at the famous Dominick Foreign Car Repair in White Plains NYC. Santo and his brother (and their father before them) are legendary for the work on Alfa, Ferreri and Berlina. Santo rebuilt the 4 cylinder engine, removed the annoying and horse power draining emissions gadgetry, re-did the interior and painted the car a beautiful silver gray. The paint job has held up beautifully and has normal signs of having been a weekend driver and not a show car. I have never had it out of a garage if I wasn't driving it. Runs, drives, brakes beautifully, fuel injection is spot on and has an amazing throaty Alfa Romeo growl. Doesn't have a spot of rust. Full break job two summers ago and I've barely driven it since. I recently moved to Portland Oregon and brought the car across country. Since I've been here, it had a once-over from Nasko, a great Alfa mechanic here in Portland. I put on a brand new, high-end top, new tires and put in a new wooden shift knob (new old stock from the 1970's) that is by the same company as the steering wheel (Personal of Veneto Italy).
