Car description |

Thank you for looking at our 1984 Alfa Romeo. It is a true rust free Texas car. It was purchased in Houston and spent its entire life in Houston.
It is a rare color combo of Aqua Greeen and Lite blue interior. I was told it was special ordered this way. I have the original window sticker verifying the color combo as original. It looks nice together. The carpet is new. The rear shelf is new and I do have the carpet to cover the back. I left it out to show perspective buyers that there is no rust around the computer.
The car runs fantastic. It fires right up and idles nice. The brakes and suspension were replaced in 2014 which was less than 1000 miles ago.The tires are in great shape and like new. All belts are new. The A/C works but the interior fan switch needs to be replaced. The compressor turns on and runs fine. I have receipts showing the trans was rebuilt and clutch replaced less than 5000 miles ago. Oil pressure is perfect. Temp gauge stays at a hair above 180 degrees in 90 degree weather and heavy traffic. The power windows work fine just slow. May be normal. Parking brake works great. The Fuel gauge did not work today when I took it around the neighborhood. The tach also was acting strange. I will look into these the next few days. Not sure what is going on with those two gauges. They always worked fine but the car has sat in the garage a lot these last few years since we bought a Porsche and drive that more and more. The Alfa has become a neigborhood cruiser but I did take it on a 140 mile round trip last week and it performed flawlessly. The top is in great shape the rear window stitching along the bottom has dry rotted and needs to be replaced. The top was put up for the first time in years to take pictures today. It stays in the garage and top stays down.
I have the service history on the car dating back to 1984. The original service book is completely filled out and stamped.
This is an honest Alfa that deserves a good home where she can be enjoyed at car shows and Alfa club meets. I would not hesitate driving this car from Texas to Florida in a moments notice.
I reserve the right to end the auction at any moment due to being for sale locally. I will accept a $500 deposit thru PayPal with the balance to be paid by cashier check or cash in person.
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Anyone with a rating of less than 10 must email me before bidding or I will erase your bid due to many scams on eBay.
Haggerty values this car at $12,900 avg value and is considered one of the few 80's era cars to start rocketing up.
