This has long been my favorite car to drive. If only I could have found support to keep it running. I changed the SPRINGS out to RED SPRINGS, he original European height. She has "Weber" style carbs from International Auto Parts.I had a '74 Jaguar e-Type convertible, restored TR-6 and this car to drive. This one was the most fun to drive of the bunch. Unfortunately the mechanics I had access to specialized in British cars. We did fabulous frame up restorations on British cars but they failed miserably in taking car of this sweet driving baby. The car had poor compression on the front two and they never could resolve it. Subsequently I have come to believe it needed new gaskets on the exhaust manifold. Wheeler Dealers did an episode of a car with exactly the same problem and that was it. Imagine my surprise.I bought the car in 2004. Today my health has kept me from taking care of this car. It is not a running car. It is sold to either restore or as a parts car, lthough I would like to think of it as screaming around the turns of hilly, urvy two lane roads like we have plenty of in Arkansas.
