Car description |

1992 Acura Integra GS-R - a rare find! Fewer than 4,000 of these cars were ever produced, making it about twice as rare as Acura's coveted NSX. And while these are hard to find these days, they are nearly impossible to find in this condition: all original, unmodified, a true survivor. And in my opinion, Aztec Green is the best and most period correct color for this model.
At the time it was produced the GS-R made more horsepower per liter than any other naturally aspirated production car available in the USA. It was the first car to proudly where the VTEC badge, screaming to an 8,000 RPM redline and making 160hp (impressive output for a 1.7 liter).
This example has just over 235k miles and is in overall good condition. I will try to be as clear as possible about the condition of the car so that there are no surprises on pick up. While the car is not showroom perfect, it is a great starting point for a project that you can drive immediately while you make whatever improvements upgrades you choose.
Mechanical Overview* Cars starts, runs, and drives as it should.* Recent maintenance includes a new battery and new distributor.* Transmission shifts well; no grinds
Exterior Overview* Overall body is in good to fair condition. No major dents, but several minor ones.* Clear coat peel on hood and roof* Rust repair is evident in the rear quarters (common for this model of car). Repair area is in primer but color-matched paint will be included.* Moulding missing from passenger door; I'm in the process of sourcing this and hope to have by auction end.
Interior Overview* Overall interior condition is very good; exceptional considering the age and mileage of the car.* Sunroof and windows function properly* No stereo currently installed but can add an aftermarket head unit if the buyer prefers at no additional cost.
Suspension/ Drivetrain* Struts appear to be showing signs of aging with some bounce detected over major bumps. Recommend replacement; will include a set of four brand new struts with purchase* Front tires are in need of replacement. Rear tires show adequate tread depth (30-40%)
