1978 JEEP CJ-7 with a 258 6cyl. three speed manual

This beast is rough and rusty! If it's a trailer queen you seek. keep looking. This is a good blue collar. CJ-7. Has the best motor you can get in a Jeep. The 258 straight 6 cyl. Whoever had it before me. replaced the original motor with a 1983. 258. Has a 3 speed trans. She sits on a 4 inch suspension lift kit. that includes the drop pittman arm. So it stays in its own lane on tarmac. A helpful feature! 33x10x15 tires. New clutch installed last year. stock axles and gears. The tub does. as you can see in the pictures. have some major rust issues. The floors are. surprisingly. still pretty decent. seats replaced a couple years ago. One bug i have never been able to fix is the brake lights. They only work when they want to. But she does run and drive a lot better than she looks! The front axle features manually locking hubs. And yes. it is a "working" 4 wheel drive. all components function well. Well enough that on several occasions it's been muddy enough to not know what color it is! Both a fun toy and daily driver.
