Car description

Porsche 944 in very good condition. It's ready to drive and enjoy. I have had this car for about 12 years and have maintained well over the years. A Vertex chip is installed along with M030 sway bars. The timing belt was replaced with tensioners around five years ago. The front and rear shock along with the control arms were replaced around the same time. Squeaks and rattles are minimal and the exhaust is solid. There is no rust on or under the car. The car is wearing 17 inch CUP3 wheels but I do have the original 15 inch phone dial wheels. 15 and 16 inch Fuchs will fit and look fantastic on this car.
I had the steering rack replaced but it failed with a leak soon after the second rack was installed two years ago. I drive the car regularly, and it always starts and runs smoothly. it does not burn oils or smoke. The oil gauge is pegged at 5 upon cold starts. The temp gauge remains in the normal range as long the car is not racing. It has endured some trips of a 200 miles with no mechanical problems. It's fairly reliable and does not need specialized service from the dealer or a Porsche shop. This is a car the the average mechanical person can maintain with a decent set of tools.
The AC works as do most of the accessories on the car. The rear hatch remote operates but it requires the key to open the hatch. The wiper fluid pump works, but it clogs with debris in the tank. The paint has aged on the horizontal surfaces, so a decent paint job would help the appearance.
I'm sorry that I don't have a slick, staged dealer add. But my price is fair and my eBay reputation is more important than deceiving prospective buyers. I want to sell this car to someone who wants a 944 and who appreciates integrity from an individual not a company. Thank you for viewing my add.
