Car description

This is an all original, low mileage rare 'Silver Duster Package' car. I have the dealer brochures that describes it. They were offered in three colors: Vintage Red Metallic, Spinnaker White and Formal Black.Paint, interior, engine etc is just as it came from the factory. The interior is called Boca Raton, and was only offered for the Silver Duster package. This car sat in an open garage for over 25 years, and then in an enclosed garage for another 5 years. It was started periodically and driven short distances to keep everything lubricated and working. It is now showing 35,223 miles on the odometer. I was told the miles were original when I bought it, and that's what I believe is true. However, I have no documentation to prove that, so I am selling it as mileage unknown. I drive it every week, so I will add a few more miles to it as time goes by.In the past few years, the following items have either been replaced or refurbished:* Tires* Carburetor* Master cylinder and brake booster* Plugs and wires*New gas tank and fuel sending unit* Thermostat and radiator cap* Windshield* Trunk matIt is powered by a six cylinder 'slant 6' 225 c.i. engine. The engine compartment has not been detailed. Transmission is automatic.Interior is original and in near mint condition. The half vinyl top is in mint condition. It has all of the original A/C components, but currently does not put out cold air. The compressor kicks in okay and is not noisy or make any funny noises. All lights, gaugesand instrumentation work as they should.Pop-out rear windows work fine. The chrome bumpers are a bit faded in places, but are still super nice, shinyand straight.Zero rust anywhere, except the bottom of the car just has surface rust on the parts that were not undercoated from the factory. Some light surface rust on the door hinges etc.Original keys and owner's manual. An aftermarket JC Penny FM radio is mounted under the dash. The previous owner said the original AM radio was not working, so he added the FM unit. I have not taken the original radio out to test it, but when I turn it on, I hear a 'popping' sound from the speaker. The FM radio has two speakers mounted in the rear package tray, and they work fine.I have two near-perfect 'build' sheets that will go with the car.It can be a real nice show car with minimal work if that's your 'thing'. I take it to local shows and cruise-in's and it always gets lots of attention. I'm not a show car person, so I have a "Do Not Judge" sign that I put on the dash. The car will be sold with a Georgia Bill of Sale. Georgia does not require a title on vehicles this old. It is tagged and registered in my name. You can fly in and drive it home, or I will assist loading it on to a trailer or transporter that you provide. The car will not leave my property until the full purchase price is paid in full. Cash is preferred. A wire transfer to my bank will also work. A personal check will have to wait until it clears my bank and the funds are posted to my account.A $200 non-refundable deposit is required via payPal within 48 hours. No trades! The car is always in an enclosed garage, and I can store it at no charge for a reasonable length of time until you can pick it up.The car is sold "as is, where is" and no warranty is stated or implied. It can be inspected at any time...just make an appointment. I will be happy to answer any other questions about the car. Mike at 678-709-6666 between 8 AM and 9 PM.
P.S. - Per some inquiries about the paint...the paint is original and there are some spots like in the door jamb and hinges areas that could use some touch up. I have a 'rattle' can ofmatching paint that goes with the car. For little nicks, I just sprayed some in a small bottle and did any touch-ups with a small artist's brush.
