Car description

For sale is my 1969 Scout 800A with removable hardtop. The Scout is in good shape. It's an original California truck and has spent its entire life there until I brought it to Dallas, exas. There are no rust issues. The Scout has been very well maintained its entire life. The Scout has its numbers matching 304 engine which is very strong and sound. The transmission is a T-18, speed with 3:55 gears. All new belts and hoses. The oil pan gasket is new, lso the valve cover gaskets are new. New points, lugs, ires, nd fuel filter. New battery and new Holly 2210 350 CFM carburetor. The tires are new with less than 250 miles on them, ize 33/12/50/15. The interior of the Scout has been completely redone in a caramel colored vinyl which corresponds well with the newly painted exterior color of stone gray which is a 2005 Chrysler paint color. This is a very nice old Scout, ruly an outstanding truck and will be loads of fun as a great daily driver, ff road trip, r during hunting season as a hunting rig. Very cool vintage SUV.

I have clear title in hand. I have the Scout listed locally and don't think it will last long. There are a few things that the new owner will need to do at some point to the Scout. 1) I currently have only one of the gas tanks in use. The secondary tank will need new fuel lines prior to being usable. 2) the stereo needs to be replaced 3) The Scout will need new weatherstripping around the doors. The old weatherstripping was removed during the restoration process and I have not replaced it. 4) needs windshield wiper blades and rearview mirror.
