1954 Kaiser Darrin #397 VERY unique one of a kind PROJECT!!

For sale is a RARE one of a KIND 1954 Kaiser Darrin PROJECT !! Please see that this is a big PROJECT that is NOT finished yet but the owner has decided to move on!! This killer project started life as a STOCK original car#397 Darrin that was brought to Kenny's Rod Shop in Boise ID for a complete make over into a current day SPORTS CAR!!! To start with we purchased a complete newer Corvette and removed its factory body down to the heart of it. motor. ear trans axle. and front and rear suspension. We then jigged up to build a state of the art tubular chassis to house the Vette running gear. We narrowed the front 5" and narrowed the rear 11" but retained the original WB. Next the talented crew at KRS started bending tubing and building a complete rigid platform for this unique hot rod. we converted all 4 corners to QA1 coilovers. and incorporated all new mounts using stock GM rubber mounts. THIS WILL BE A KILLER HANDLING CAR!! We figure done the entire car should weigh at least 1000 pounds LIGHTER than the stock corvette but will have better upgraded suspension to handle the road like NO other Kaiser Darrin out there. Now the body was purchased and we bought thousands of dollar of new Bob Adams parts as u can see in the pics. and we have purchased many other after market parts as well. The wheels and tires you see on the car are NEW but these wheels where just to build around and set up !! we planned on having a set of one off wheels built based on these sizes. but they are NEW!! i have a clear title in hand and as stated this is car #397. this is a big project for some one to take on and we here at Kenny's Rod Shop can finish the project for you for a price if you so desire!! The entire tube chassis is completely jigged and tig welded to perfection. This is and will be a TRUE one of a kind and NO one out there will have a Darrin like this!!!
