Alternator Test Bench, now you can test the Big Boys!

This is an Alternator test bench made by UMC. It is a large 35 HP unit rated at 400Amps at 28V DC. In operation it will actually test 500 Amps at 28V DC. Can be switched between 6V and 12V and 24V via a toggle switch. Corresponding load banks can be switched in as desired to provide full load output. It uses industry standard test plug interface Jimco and Northwest Regulator Amfor Electronics. Variable speed 35 HP drive motor tests from 500 RPM to 10000 RPM. It has the fixture/bracket to test a 50DN Delco pulley driven. See photos. Can also be used to test the Neihoff, EMP, and PennTex as well as all other alternators. The front panel is user select-able to be able to configure to test any kind of Alternator. Also has Starter free fun test capacity. This Alternator tester works excellent for Bus and Military work.
