Car description

Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice looking and fun to drive MGB GT. This car was recently purchased from it’s Arizona seller who lavished plenty of effort and expense on it to make it the ideal driver’s car. It’s finished in it’s handsome original color scheme with it’s largely original-looking interior.Bodywork and paint on this car look quite good. The car is wearing a believed single older repaint of decent quality. It’s showing a few chips and light scrapes from normal use over the years, along with a couple small bubbling spots on the hatch lid under the rear screen (PLEASE SEE WALK AROUND VIDEO), but really minor stuff. Brightwork and Triplex glass all around is original and good, with new front and rear bumper bars and grille. Screen rubber looks quite nice. The interior is very good. The seats are in excellent condition. Carpets are newer. The headliner is a nice original with a few flaws. The original dash top pad could use a cap installed or a small repair. The driver’s side could use a few more carpet pieces. Overall, it’s generally very good with an original feel to it.Mechanically, the engine bursts to life with great power and health. It was rebuilt approximately 11,000 miles ago and runs really well with it’s downdraft Weber carb and intake manifold, Monza free-flow header set and exhaust system, Aluminum cylinder head, electronic ignition, high torque starter, new fuel pump, com. It’s a little fire-breathing dragon coupled to an excellent gearbox with nice clutch action and exhaust note (PLEASE SEE DRIVING VIDEO). Steering pulls lightly to the right. It could use some minor suspension/shock work. The attractive and sporty minilite alloy wheels are fitted with a very grippy competition tires that suit the car’s character well. Overall, a very fun little British classic coupe !The car’s underside looks completely solid and rustfree. The car retains it’s original spare wheel and changing equipment, jack, and an assortment of new parts pictured.Overall, a very attractive and honest B GT in great original colors. This car is well preserved and has enjoyed plenty of mechanical reconditioning in the recent past. It represents good value going forward, as these models are seeing a strong uptick in this affordable car market. Please look at all pictures / video and call or email with any questions. We will assist in shipping worldwide.
