Car description

NO RESERVE! ONLY 5 DAY AUCTION. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE, HIGHEST BID WINS CAR!
I am selling this 1962 Mercury Comet wagon for a friend of mine. These wagons are hard to find with a limited-low production number. 302 V8 paired to the T5 five speed manual transmission and updated to Pertronix ignition. Runs and drives really well and the 5sp. makes it a blast to drive. Everything works including: Lights, wipers, heater and even the electric rear window operates from the original switch on dash. Car has had older restoration and it shows some imperfections in paint which includes filler in areas of body (which I have taken a picture of). Not showroom condition by any means but overall a presentable/dependable turn key driver that will take you and the family anywhere. Has been converted to 5 lug by utilizing a Maverick rear end and front brakes. Nice Cragar wheels and tires. Original front seat is included with sale as well. The only item that the seller addressed was that the clutch could use an adjustment but still drives well.
As stated above car is not showroom but overall a dependable turn key driver that looks good with a straight body. If I hadn't recently added a few cars to my personal collection this wagon would be in my garage because its the ultimate cruiser. Collector plates so no tabs required. Clear Title.
Remember this is a NO RESERVE auction so only bid if you have the funds to purchase car. A non refundable deposit of $1,000 is due via Paypal within 24hrs of auction end and the remainder of funds are due within 3 days of auction end via bank wire transfer or cash in person. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/handling costs. Seller is willing to store vehicle for up to 6 weeks if needed while buyer makes shipping arrangements. If longer time is needed that can be discussed between buyer & seller. Vehicle comes in "as-is" condition no warranty written or implied. I have the right to end auction at anytime. I have tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge and you can see I have 100% positive feedback on all vehicle sales and have been a long time member on here. My listings are lengthy but I try to be detailed. Please contact me with any questions you may have on the car and I will get you in touch with the seller if I can't answer them. Goodluck Bidding!
