Car description

Hello! You are bidding on a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300TD Wagon. This car has been well taken care of, and recently underwent $8000 in repairs to get it ready for whatever you need it for. As of listing, it has 189,773 miles on the odometer, but for anyone familiar with the W123 chassis and their associated Diesel engine, this one is just now broken in! The exterior paint (Taiga Beige)is original, with some rock chips commensurate with its age, but this vehicle has been garage kept for most its life. The interior is Palamino MB-Tex vinyl, and is in great general condition. Seats are firm with no tears or rips. The wagon has never been run on biodiesel, but could be easily converted. Tires are in good shape, about 4k miles on them. This wagon comes with the rare 3rd row option that lets you seat up to 7 legally. Kids love this row!
This vehicle has just undergone a tune-up and repairs. I can email a full list to interested bidders, but the major repairs were replacement of a rear axle, engine tuneup w/value adjustment, oil change, power window repair, and new auxiliary fan. The AC has been recharged and blows cold. I have gotten this wagon well above highway speed and wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long road trip.
Full disclosure:The cruise control is non-operationalThe trunk is missing the inside lever (trunk works normally, just not a way to open from inside)The headliner on the sunroof is torn around the manual handleThe front washer fluid reservoir has a leak in itThere is a small amount of rust (see picture) below the driver side rear panel, below the spare tire. Otherwise, this has been a California car for most of its life, and no evidence of rust anywhere else
This would be a great purchase for anyone who likes a vehicle that will last forever with minimal maintenance. Please contact me with any questions.
I'm happy to sell this in the OKC metro, or ship (at buyers expense). This vehicle comes with two keys and a clear OK title that will be mailed when cashier's check is cleared. This vehicle is being sold AS IS.
Good luck!
