Car description

Mileage: 27,907 Transmission: Manual Condition: Excellent Exterior: Dark Blue Interior: Black Leather Restored 1969 Land Rover Series II A Wagon 88" Wheelbase finished in dark blue over black leather interior. Chassis No. 24435680F Acquired from a local enthusiast owner who had the truck for about 4 years. Believed to be three total owners. The last owner (~2015-2019) purchased the truck in Restored/Refurbished condition. It was serviced over the last several years with our local Land Rover Specialty shop - Independent Rovers in Bethesda, MD to keep it in excellent running order. Recent work includes plugs, belts, fluid service, and more. The truck remains largely original - the only alterations from stock appear to the pedal covers (installed to provide a larger footbed) and three-point belts. No records of paintwork but we know the truck was restored, and assume it has been resprayed. The paint work is in excellent condition as detailed in the gallery. The prior owner added new Rover floor mats and rear mat during his ownership; along with installing the leather covered rear 'troop' seats. Turn key truck; runs/drives/stops very well and as intended. Over $3k in service in the last 1,000 miles including: new spark plugs, fuel filter, rear wheel cylinders and rear brake shoes, valve adjustment, carb adjustment, new clutch master cylinder, new belts, fluids, battery, new floor and trunk mats, rear 'troop' seats. The sale includes some historical and recent records as well as a copy of its feature in Land Rover Owner International Magazine in July 1995 prior to current restoration. Please email for PDF copies (20+ pages) of records. Please contact us at 202-531-8505 or info@performanceautogallery.com to schedule an appointment.
