This is a 1 family locally owned 1969 Kaiser Jeep CJ5. It was purchased new on October 22, 1968 from Bob Eisen Motors in Milwaukee WI. This is an unmolested, adult driven, and stock including what we believe is an all original power train (Hurricane 4 Cylinder, 3 speed and 23867 original miles) and all the paperwork from when new as shown. It is a manual steering, manual brake jeep as expected in this era.

All the codes we checked match, including the color. We also are amazed at the condition of the original interior and body panels, seats and dash. The paint is the original color with the black interior. The interior, aside from imperfections in the driver seat shown, is near perfect. The floor and exterior has had a poor quality repaint years ago as you can see, painted with a brush by the elderly owner. It looks good from 10 fet away but should be redone. Luckily from what we can tell, he used automotive paint in the original color.

This jeep was used for picking up trash on a private beach in Waukesha county and occasionally used for plowing by the family that owned the beach. We could not find any reproduction parts on this jeep. There are two tops included - a half top that will need some canvas work and a full CJ5 top that is in good condition along with doors. This vehicle runs well but will need to have the engine cleaned and sealed, and it has an exhaust manifold leak. It lot drives but has no brakes. We drove it low down the road and it ran well. We are including new lines, master cylinder and wheel cylinders with the sale.

What does it need? Brakes, exhaust work, and we would suggest steam cleaning the underbody and engine compartment and maybe sandblasting the underbody to remove the flaky rust. We would also strip and repaint the Jeep if you want a perfect finish. Otherwise, fix the brakes and exhaust manifold leak and use it as it is. The plow comes with it or you can choose to leave the plow behind. Also note that the photos show a cracked windshield. We had it fixed professionally by a local auto glass company along with a new gasket.

The vehicle is is in awesome shape for the age. Usually the floor and rear pans are shot and this one is in superb shape. Look at the toolbox. I am not sure we have seen an original compartment with no holes or rust. We are a local auction house in Waukesha, Wisconsin and the vehicle is in our heated warehouse.

What an outstanding example of a classic 1969 CJ-5 Jeep. We are selling this vehicle at a reasonable buy it now or best offer. Please review the vehicle details below including the photos, videos and description before placing a bid or clicking on a buy it now.
