Car description

This is a NO RESERVE auction, there is no buy it now price! You are bidding to OWN the truck, only bid if you fully intend on closing the deal at the end of the auction. It takes time and money to post here, please be mindful of these facts before bidding! This is a 1965 scout 80. It has had a good deal of work recently done to it.The 4 cylinder engine has been rebuilt with about 3k miles on it. .30 over pistons, otherwise stock. Exhaust system has also been replaced in the last few years. The clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, master and slave have also been replaced. The windshield is new, windshield wiper motors were converted from vacuum to electric. The seats have been recovered, floors look solid and have been covered with bed liner, as the bed and removable cap has too.Mud grip type tires are in good shape and have plenty of tread.Truck was recently painted and black vinyl stripes added. 4 new off road lamps were just installed on the custom front bumper. The scout was used as a seasonal hunting vehicle since the early 1990's, and was just replaced with a side by side last season, so this was no longer needed, so it is really low miles for the age. It had been parked under covered parking when not in use. This truck fires right up and has crawled all around off road with no problem, it has proven to be a dependable 4x4 that works well! The frame is nice and solid, and shows no accident damage. This scout is running and driving and really fun to drive, having said that, It is over 50 years old and not a show truck. It is not a new Toyota! It has some dents/imperfections etc. It may need some work or detailing and tinkering, depending on what you want to do with it.You are welcome to set up a time to come see the truck or ask questions. Please remember, You are bidding to own the truck, not the right of first refusal. The $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable.I have a fresh Texas title in my name in hand. Please check with your bank/significant other before bidding, Thanks for looking!
