Car description

1958 GMC 450-Series LCF (Low Cab Forward) Truck.

This truck is very straight and solid except for one dent in the passenger's side fender flare and a small rust-hole in the lower corner of the outside of the driver's door. Floors, oof, oor-bottoms and even the cab-corners are in remarkable condition. The truck does run when I put a battery in it and hook up a temporary fuel system. That said, t does probably need to at least have the carburetor rebuilt and a complete tune-up with fresh fluids.

This is a rare truck as most of these larger trucks were not ordered with the Deluxe Cab Stainless Steel Trim and the chrome grill treatment. There are a couple dings in the grill, ut the bumper bullets are in very good shape. Has 3-doors that open for under hood access. A conventional hood, s well as two doors that open on the sides. Truck is also equipped with the correct, riginal accessory Tachometer and Sun EB9 Transmitter under the hood. All of the glass is good. The firewall on this truck has a lot of notations that were written upon it as it went down the assembly line. It probably stood out quite a bit, s most of these trucks had no Stainless Trim and had painted grills and emblems. It is also equipped with the desirable Hydravac Brake option. I have made a 60-minute video of this truck showing Classic Truck Rescue retrieving it and getting it fired up. Like I said, t does run, ut it is a truck that will need some attention before it can be driven on the road, nd it really is deserving of at least a minor restoration. I have a clean, lear Oregon Title for it. Thank you for looking. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I will make myself available if anyone wants to send someone to inspect it (by appointment) This truck is also for sale locally, o I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Please DO NOT WASTE MY TIME! Don't offer to buy my truck if you aren't serious! If you need to check with your Wife, ank, omeone else, heck with them BEFORE trying to buy this truck. If you don't have a good feedback score or any Ebay longevity, heck with me before placing a bid. I am relisting it because the last person who couldn't live without this truck didn't follow through because he decided shipping was too much. Check that out first please. Thank you.
