You are looking at a very unique 1968.5 Ford Mustang Fastback that was born an R Code 428 Cobra Jet car. These cars are the best of the best as far as 67-68 mustangs go and have productions numbers much lower than Shelbys.

This particular car is an Acapulco Blue with black interior GT car.

This car is 100% numbers matching from the radiator to the rearend. Numbers Matching engine, heads, carb, intake, exhaust mandiolds, transmission, rearend etc.

The best part about this car and what makes it better than most 68.5 Cobra Jet cars is that this car was a very early build, and has a lot of unique parts that a lot of the other cobra jet cars didnt have.

Specifically the very rare C8AE-6090-J Heads. The heads on this car are dated 7M15 and 7M16 and were mostly used on 427 Cougars and very early "135 series" Cobra Jet cars.

Please take the time to look at both videos and the link with over 200 pictures. The pictures show almost every inch of the car and the parts.

Now Ill break down the car by area starting with the engine.

Interior:

Factory original black interior. Almost all of the interior is there but needs restored. Have the gauges, headliner bows, interior panels etc. All parts can be seen in the pictures.

Body:

The body of the car is overall nice with solid frame rails, shock towers, rocker panels, doors jambs etc. The roof is in great shape as well as the dash. The car has all of its glass except a front windshield and the headlight buckets are also gone. The trunk floors are solid except for a couple places around the rear of the gas tank. The car will needs front floor pans, RH torque box, quarter panel repair work, battery apron, trunk dropoffs and a couple minor places here and there and the RH rear rail around the shackle is soft. The car needs fully restored and needs rust repair but overall instbad. I have personally fixed way worse.

The car rolls and steers and still has its factory disc brakes in the front.

VINS:

All VINS are present and original. This includes the factory door tag, dash VIN plate, and both fender apron stamps.
