We bought this truck with the intention of swapping out a few things and just making a good running/driving fun truck. It is getting harder and harder to find a solid body or a truck with a title for a reasonable price. However, we decided we didn't want to take it all the way back to Vegas with us, where we already have too many projects amassing in the garage. It is a great starter for any direction you want to go with it. The motor or carb needs some tuning, and the transmission could benefit from swapping the floor shifter and adjusting the linkage properly. What is perfect about this truck is that it has a great base if you want to take it all the way to a really nice truck, or it is still simple enough that if you want to just make some basic modifications you could have yourself a daily driver, or even if you want to go the other direction, it would be easy to turn the truck into the increasingly popular rat rod. The 56 looks nice, and definitely catches your eye with the bright yellow and it just being the highly sought after 56 year. If you look for these anywhere, they are getting nearly impossible to find in the under 40k range, and this is a great truck for anyone wanting to make the modifications to create the truck the way they want it. The truck does run and drive.
If you have any questions please give me a call with any questions. It is easier to describe the truck than typing out everything. 253-377-2266- thanks, Brad
