Car description

This is a good survivor. Very little rust. The only real damage is the floor boards on each side in the front. When we pulled the seats out to clean out all the dust and dirt we were very surprised on how good all the floors were. The floors were cleaned up and given a coat of paint to prevent them from any damage. Underneath the car is incredibly clean especially considering it is a Falcon. Even in the trunk you can see there is surface rust. but even down in those pockets behind the rear wheels is all solid. There is a little bit of rust on each of the rear wheel wells. but does not seem to be much. At some point in its life somebody did a spray over on the paint. would not be a bit surprised if it was a rattle can job. There is a dent on the passenger side in the front. the bumper got pushed back into the fender a little. Changed plugs and points and cleaned up carb and put in a new battery and started right up. runs very smooth. The brakes were messed up. one of the front brakes had the shoes on backwards so car was pulling badly. Replaced front cylinders and brake lines on the front and bled brakes and now brakes very smoothly. Did not look at the rears. Seats have been cover with some type of vinyl. not a great job. but better then sitting on springs. But the frames seem pretty solid. Does have a couple of broken springs. Al the glass is good. no cracks or missing parts. All the interior parts are there too. I think the AM radio might actually work. it turns on and lights up. but all the speakers are rotted out. Speedo works but none of the other gauges. Odometer says 14k but have no idea real mileage. Needs new exhaust system. was missing a muffle. Front tires has been replaced. but the rears are in need of replacement. so would not feel comfortable driving it too far without replacing those first. have driven it around some. cruises at 45 smoothly and brakes good now. Does not over heat. Smokes some. but these cars did not have a crank case recovery system. so that is expected.
