Car description

1968 Dodge Monaco Station Wagon. 120. 04 original miles. I bought this car back in 1995 when I was 18 years old. At the time. it had only 69. 00 on it. and it had only had two previous owners. The first owners were originally from the Seattle area. and this car was parked at their vacation home in Chelan and only driven when they were here vacationing. It ran extremely well when I got it. I could cruise it at 90 on the freeway easy. took it from the Chelan Valley to Portland several times. no issues. The thing felt like I was driving a boat on water. This was my daily driver for many years. I drove it exclusively until my oldest daughter was about two years old. I then let her dad use it for a while. as he was car-less and job-less. and I was trying to help him out. I told him he was only borrowing it. and as soon as he got back on his feet. I wanted the car back. I love this car. Well the jerk sold it out from under me to a mutual friend. and I didn't have the cajones to argue it. so I let it go. sad as it was. This was back in 2003-2004. A few years went by. and sometime in 2007 or 2008. the mutual friend decided to sell the wagon. I caught wind of it. and bought it back from him. but he had misplaced the title and was unable to give the title to me. He said he would look for it and get it to me as soon as possible. Several years went by. and still no title. I finally gave up on the guy and went to apply for a lost title in 2012. and it turns out. THE CAR WAS IN MY NAME THE WHOLE TIME! Haha. Anyway. funny story I think. but completely irrelevent. I can't say much about the condition of this car. as far as mechanics go. It ran fine when my friend bought it from my ex-husband. but then he parked it. removed the battery. and it hasn't been started since. It needs work. obviously. It is a fixer upper. The radiator is gone (crackheads stole it). I remember having problems with needing to change the fuel filter often. I also remember it needed brakes when I started letting my ex husband use it. Other than that. I don't remember any major mechanical issues. but no guarantees that there aren't any more issues than what I have mentioned. The interior is obviously pretty rough. and it needs a good cleaning at the very least. The tires are shot. The original windows are all intact. The body is pretty good. has some minor dents and dings. The wood grain has mostly peeled away. I don't think there are any major rust issues. since this car has lived in dry Eastern Washington its whole
