Car description

Wake up Mopar collectors!! 1971 Dodge Demon 340, factory GY3 CURIOUS YELLOW with a 4 SPEED, BUILDSHEET, FENDER TAG, and ALL NUMBERS MATCHING!!!!!!!!!! Extremely rare barn/garage find. Motor in this car has never been apart or taken out for any reason. Only the carburetor has been replaced, everything else is stock right down to the points. Holds great oil pressure even hot and does not leak nearly a drop. This is an ORIGINAL PAINT, Colorado car with minimal overall rust. Car has rust in the typical locations like lower quarters and just in front of rear wheels. Trunk, floorpans, frame, doors, inner and outer fenders are solid. I have OE front fenders with the extensions and headlight buckets plus a near perfect passenger door that I am including in the sale. Miles are believed to be actual at 74900. All the gauges work including speedometer. I have both headrests and all the mouldings associated with vinyl top plus center caps and rest of lugs for wheels.

This Demon sat in a garage in Colorado from 1999 till I purchased car in 2017. I rebuilt carb, replaced gas tank, sending unit, and fuel pump and car ran like a top. I rebuilt driveshaft, added new "Green" axle bearings, installed all new tires and drove the car earlier this year. The clutch was in need of replacement, so I pulled transmission and clutch out to replace as needed. I have not had the time to reinstall into the car. I had transmission checked out and replaced whatever was needed internally and resealed. Flywheel has been resurfaced and starter is rebuilt. I recently purchased another toy and quite simply can't keep everything. I made the decision to part with this car even though this is arguably one of Chrysler's best high impact color. One year only color too.

More pics are available upon request. I have taken a ton of pics and can send via text. I can be reached at 586-291-2247 if you have questions but please call only if you are very serious with very serious questions as my time is limited. I am not a dealer but rather a 26 year Chrysler employee that knows these cars well. Bid with confidence as I have 100% feedback. I can help with shipping and car is obviously stored in a safe, insulated garage. I reserve the right to end auction at any time as car is for sale locally.

When do you think you will see another one like this for sale in this color, with a four speed, with it's original running engine, and with it's original buildsheet and fender tag? This car is definitely worth restoring to original. I require a $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction's end. I also require the full balance within 3 business days of auction's end. Bidders with zero feedback please contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. Bank wire transfer is my preferred method of payment, but if paying by certified check please understand car does not leave the garage until funds are verified and check has fully cleared. Best of luck to you bidders as someone is gonna get a rare, collector car!
