Car description

We have a very nice 1965 Coronet to sell. Car sat in storage for a few years. About 15 years ago it was repainted on the outside. Was a very good job done. Body did have some minor rust that was repaired with metal. Looks like a quality job. I have 2 pictures of bottom of back quarters and frame rails. Whole underside of car was undercoated. That looks quality also. Doesn't appear to of had rust on the bottom side. If you notice the door jambs and bottom of trunk lid and bottom of hood. That's all original paint that is very nice. Trunk floor I took the plastic plugs out and wire brushed the floor. Then painted it with a rust inhibitor paint. Put plugs back in. Appears to have original floor mat along with original cardboard inserts along outside wells.. Also has original floor jack. I have the piece of chrome that goes on front of hood. On passenger side fenderwell there's an original inspection mark that's very nice. 273 V8 was repainted. Not sure if that was rebuilt. Does sound very good with no funny noises. Automatic shifts very good. We drove it about 1000 miles this summer. Starts good, choke works like it should with fast idle when cold. Drives nice, brakes work like they should. Alum wheels and white letters tires do not go with the car. I had them on the car for the summer. Original wheels and hubcabs will be on the car as seen in pictures. Tires are old and weathered so will need to be replaced. Bottoms of rockers are very solid with paint on them. Headliner is very nice. Front seat has stains which should clean up. Only thing that doesn't work right is the gas gauge. If it gets to about half a tank it'll registrar. I put a good set of air shocks on the back. I think this is a very nice old car but not perfect. Good driver quality to have fun with. Car has been buffed out since these pictures and has a nice shine. We have a clear title in our name. Car is stored 50 miles from my house and can be picked up there. We would like the Dodge to be paid in full within 7 days. It can sit in storage until you arrange transport. I'll post a Buy It Now if we settle on a price. Please ask questions as we want everyone happy. Thanks for looking at our auction!!!
