Car description

1965 Dodge Coronet 2 door sedan done up in the style of an A-990 Race Hemi. The paint, brite work, chrome, glass and interior is nice. Built from a rust free body that's been inside all of it's life.
472 HEMI, Indy aluminum block, Ray Barton rotating assembly 10.5 compression for pump gas (4.150" stroke), Edelbrock aluminum heads with 2.32 intake valves and titanium retainers, Keith Black anodized aluminum billet rocker stands with chrome shafts and Stage V roller tip rockers, 5.70" lift tool steel cam and solid lifters ($1,200), Ray Barton/Mopar single 4 bbl intake with Holley 950 cfm Ultra carb, MSD Pro-Billet distributor and MSD 7AL-3 electronic ignition, Milodon oil pan with single external pickup, TTI coated headers, 3" exhaust with mufflers, ATI 727 with reverse valve body and blanket. Driveshaft loop and trans oil cooler. Turbo Action shifter. Transbrake. 4000 stall PTC converter. All these engine and transmission parts were new about 20 passes ago.
The car has the Race Hemi headlight treatment, hood scoop, seats, interior, radio delete, back up light delete, aluminum 65 water pump with OEM aluminum water neck, Hemi K-member (repop), motor brackets and insulators. The car is tubbed and has an 8 point roll bar.
The car has a 9" Ford rear end, 4:11 gears and a Strange aluminum Ultracase center section. It has a 4 link rear suspension with coil over shocks and fuel cell. The general theme for this car was a street/strip car. But I never put license plates on it. I only drove it at the track. It has run a best of 6.80 or so. I set it up to run the 7.0 index in the eighth mile. I think that equates to it's making about 600 horsepower at 3400 lbs. But the street stuff works, it has mufflers, all it would need is a tire change to be put back on the street. I never put the title in my name. But the seller wrote my name on the back as being the buyer. I guess it would have been better if he had left that blank. I'm sure you will have some questions....Rick 501 519 742five. I think you will find the condition of the car to be very nice.
