We purchased this beautiful Dart from a gentleman in the Chicago suburbs who had owned the car for the last decade. He had purchased the car shortly after it was finished by noted restomod/prostreet builder Randy Keen, and has used the car as a summer street car ever since. Since the 2004-2005 build, this car has been driven just over ten thousand miles. As it sits, this is a phenomenally well-sorted, well-built car that is in need of nothing other than an enthusiastic new owner to continue tacking on the miles. Exterior: - Please see the video along with the listing, as the car is shown in detail. Every blemish on the car is shown close-up and in direct sunlight. - Hemi Orange paint suits the car perfectly and looks fantastic. Very little for signs of age. There are a couple very minor touched-up chips, but not much more. Again, please see the video for close-ups. - Pinstriping by Bill “Jive” Jarvis on the rear of the car is professionally done and looks great. Reads “not your mama’s dart”, and has a graphic of a throwing dart. - Glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. - Black vinyl top is in like-new condition. - Wheels are in excellent shape, with no damage or oxidation. Rear tires have 85% tread, fronts are more like 35%. - Chrome is also excellent throughout. Front and rear bumpers appear as new. Interior: - Summit Racing buckets with 5-point harnesses are black/orange to match the car. Comfortable, supportive, and look great. - Stock black vinyl backseat is in great shape. No roll cage, so the backseat is accessible. - Gauges are all functional, including the odometer, which reads just shy of 10,500 miles. This is correct miles since the 2004-2005 build, which included the installation of a crate 360ci Magnum V8 as well as the paint work. A transmission temp gauge has been mounted below the dash. - Heater has been deleted, as have windshield wipers. - Aftermarket switches on the dash for the fuel pump, turn signals, lights, electric fan, ignition, and starter. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Originally a 244-code 318ci V8, the car is now powered by a 425hp 360ci Magnum V8. - The car will come with the original build sheet, as well as a number of receipts documenting the build process. - Please take a look through the underbody photos, as it’s documented in detail. Underbody is fantastic. No rust, leaks, or damage to note. This car has been babied and garage-kept and it shows. - This car is turn-key. A ready driver. Absolutely no tendencies of concern, very nicely-sorted. It starts right up with the push of the starter switch, idles steady and cool, sounds fantastic, pulls hard, brakes straight and effectively, and steering is nice and direct.
