Car description

This GTS has been my project-car for many years. Some would say "too many", but I say "why should it be DONE", that was my plan. I feel I have been successful! Now constrained by a lack of working space, I am ready to pass my pride and joy on to someone with the resources to tie up the loose ends.Everything works and I have most of the trim, GTS tags, and exhaust tips. I replaced the L.F. fender, front carpeting, heater core, alternator, starter, distributor, voltage regulator, gauge voltage regulator, steering gear-box and column. Last summer I removed the white vinyl top. I had the engine professionally rebuilt less than 500 miles ago.
The shop that rebuilt the engine ( non-numbers matching) built engines for a well known local favorite on the NASCAR circuit. The 340 block was boiled, magnafluxed, bored 60 over, honed, and line bored. The X- HEADS were rebuilt with new hardened exhaust seats and guides and valves as needed. The original forged crank was polished and balanced. New rod bolts were added to the forged rods. New hypereutectic pistons were used. Mopar performance camshaft kit P4452761 ( 272 duration / .455 lift / 50 overlap) was installed with a Cloyes true roller timing set. The intake manifold was upgraded to a Mopar Perf. P4529116 dual plane with the factory AVS sitting on top. It runs sweet and strong! The original 8.75 rear is a non-posi 3.23 ratio and I have a posi-carrier sitting, to install. it's included in the sale.
