Car description

For Sale: 1933 Dodge Brother Coupe. $32. 00. 00. This car is all original. except for one repaint. It has been in only three families. The car has been garage kept for it's entire life. We have enjoyed the car by taking it to Auto Shows. and recently we won a 1st Place Trophy for "Best Original" at the 2014 Apple Festival. The car is a crowd pleasure at all events. or while driving down the road. It's a rare find. especially being in such top condition. This year. the car will celebrate it's 82nd Birthday. with having a 99% rust-free condition. That speaks highly of the previous owners; this car has been taken care of by all who have had the pleasure to have it in their company. It has the original window shade in the back glass. original upholstery. original rubber floor mats. original tools in the trunk. original 92 Page Owner's Manual and Repair Manual in the dash. Continental cover (which is being stored at our truck garage. as we like to run the car better without it). wooden spoke wheels and free wheeling from the factory; you can drive it regular three speed or you can pull a button out on the dash and after you put it in low gear. you can change the rest of the gears without using the clutch. and then when you're going down a hill. the car will coast and when you mash back down on the accelerator. it will start pulling again. We also have some of the repair receipts and registration cards from the first owner. This car was sold at the James Motor Company in Denver. CO. We researched the motor company and the building is still there. but the business has closed. The car was stored for numerous years; this is a very low mileage car. the mileage is 42. 97 miles. Also. this is a smoke-free car. When we bought the car. it had been sitting. so we put a new master cylinder. all new wheel cylinders. new brake linings and a new gas tank. and that's all that's ever been done to the car since I purchased it. The Dodge Ram radiator cap/ornament sells for around $1. 00. 00 NOS (this is included in the price). There's a rotatory button where the 1st owner had bought and it's still in the original cloth bag with postmark where they shipped to him; the postmark was dated in the 60's. All lights work on the car. The motor does not use any oil if changed properly. I'm not sure the maximum mph the car will go; we drive 45-55 mph when we run it. We have had it up to 65 mph before. but not for long; we prefer to run it around 45-55. This car has hydraulic brakes from the factory; Dodge came out in 1932 with hydraulic brakes and Ford came out 7 years later in 1939 with Hydraulics. This we know. because we have a 1938 Standard Ford Coupe with Mechanical brakes. It only has a seven-digit serial number: 3618653. Please message me with any additional questions you may have. Thanks for looking!
