This car is definitely a survivor. It was a daily driver until the late 80's and then it was stored in a barn ever since. it was started and run until the chipmunks decided to eat the plug wires. everything else is in good working condition. the engine does turn over, as cleaner oil in it than most newer cars I have seen. Will run with plug wires.this is a solid 1955 Desoto Firedome with the Firedome Hemi under the hood. So for all you Mopar, ascar, nd Hemi enthusiasts out there this is a great find. The Hemi does turn over and with plug wires and a battery it will start as well.. the body has surface rust as you can see. The body and frame are rock solid. The rust has started to eat away the metal at the bottom of where the back bumper goes, ut the rest of the car is rock solid. Would make a great restoration project as well as you could just pull the Hemi and do as you please.
