Car description

Up for sale is my beautiful UNRESTORED 1962/82 Citroen Deux Chevaux Charleston. This little car has always been stored indoors and is in virtually perfect original condition. It has never been repainted or restored in an manner. It has absolutely NO RUST anywhere. The car is titled in Arizona as a 1962 Citroen. Ebay won't let me put the VIN # in the ad above, but it is 8459056 consistent with a 1962 Citroen. It is a rare "German Spec" car in that it has the End Caps on the Bumpers, Trim on front overriders on bumpers, high beam flasher switch on the dash, reclining drivers seat, headrests, and 3 point front seat belts. It was delivered to it's original owner in Vilach, Austria....the dealer stickers are still on the car. The odometer shows 23,088 KM which equals 14,436 miles. If you know these little cars you'll understand the 1962/82 situation...if not please call me and I'll explain. The car is totally original except for the interior....the original was a poor lookiing gray color and had been soiled by a spilled cup of coffee...so I had new Citroen upholstery from a 2CV "Club" installed and it looks much better than the original. The tires are Michelin and are in excellent condition...the spare has never been on the ground. I've owned the car since 2011, and have owned several 2CV's in the past...this is by far the best one I've owned. I have history for the prior owners from 2006. The undocumented story on the car is that an American bought it in Austria and tourned Europe for a year and then shipped the car to California where is sat for many years on display in a Santa Monica, CA Surf Shop with Surf Boards sticking throught the roof. Note the picture of the door hinge...it depicts the overall condition of the car...the original plating from the Citroen Factory is still bright and shiny. Runs and drives perfect. You get smiles and waves everywhere you go. Top opens "sun roof" fashion with a frame work supporting the front part of the top or rolls all the way back to behind the passenger seats for "full open convertible".
Sorry, not interested in trades. Cash only. And no, I don't need your help in selling this car. Thanks for looking. Contact me with questions, Wayne, (520) 836-8580 between 8am and 8pm MST.
